Accommodation
East
Burton House, set in an acre of gardens, was originally a farmhouse
in Wareham. The old kitchen can still be seen, including cast
iron range and bread oven. The front of East Burton House is
Victorian - the pattern and colours of the tiles in the hall
tell us this. Lots of the original features still remain - fireplaces,
window shutters and even the maid's bell in the dining room!
Since moving there in 1990 a lot of hard work was undertaken
to restore some of the original character to East Burton House
(near Wareham) and to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment.
The three guest rooms (two double, one twin) contained comfortable
antique brass beds, handbasins, tea and coffee making facilities
and were decorated to a high standard.Whether you were here
on business or pleasure, we hope you enjoyed your stay.
